Stained Glass
Windows
Stained glass windows possess a profound capacity to transfigure sacred spaces, both visually and spiritually, as Pope Benedict XVI observed in his homily at St. Patrick's Cathedral: from the outside, they appear dark and heavy, but from within the Church's communion of faith, they burst forth with mystic light, revealing the splendor of grace and the manifold gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Dedication rights to 12 Antique Stained Glass Windows representing the Life of Christ
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dedicate one of twelve antique stained-glass windows representing the life of Christ.

Our twelve antique windows—lovingly rescued from a decommissioned Catholic church in full accord with Church guidelines on sacred heritage—have been meticulously restored to their original radiance. Each depicts a luminous moment from the life of Christ: His birth, ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection, serving as vibrant scriptural icons that, like those in medieval cathedrals, instruct the faithful in divine truths through sacred imagery and color.
Installed in our new Adoration Chapel, these windows will bathe the space in filtered, heavenly light, fostering reverence, contemplation, and deeper Eucharistic prayer as they draw the heart upward to the true Light of the World. By auctioning dedication rights to each window at our Chapel Gala, you have the opportunity to preserve this irreplaceable piece of Catholic patrimony, ensuring it inspires generations of adorers gathered beneath its eternal witness to Christ's saving mysteries.
The Stained Glass Artisan
Ben Kasmark is a third-generation stained glass artist dedicated to preserving sacred art through meticulous restoration and traditional craftsmanship. Having worked with stained glass since the age of 11, Ben learned the trade through his family’s studio, continuing a legacy that began with his grandfather’s work in the glass industry after World War II. Over the years, he has restored and created stained glass for churches and historic buildings across the country, including major civic landmarks such as the century-old windows of Scranton City Hall. Known for his attention to historical accuracy and reverence for the original artisans’ vision, Ben combines time-honored techniques with modern conservation methods to ensure these treasured works of art endure for future generations.
In addition to restoring the historic windows, Ben is designing and creating a new round window depicting the Blessed Mother and Child Jesus, thoughtfully rendered to match the style, color, and devotional character of the chapel’s twelve antique stained glass windows.
